[Pioneer LaserActive Station] LaserDisc Slip on A-100

My LaserActive (one of them) has a LD disc slip condition, but can read CD's and carts perfectly.  Anybody have experience in fixing this?

1.  It is not the top spindle... replaced with a known good one and makes no differece.

2.  It is not the rubber matt on the motor, that has been replaced with  new one.

Any help would be appreciated.
