[Pioneer LaserActive Station] LaserActive is Dead... no not my machine... and rare games for sale

To Paraphrase something I read on the internet... "LaserActive is Dead." I thought a group like you would be enthusiastic about your 'big gaming machines." Come on, these things are so great that they were almost 10 years ahead of the competetion.
In the last little while I havent had many responses for ideas to fix my two newly acquired systems.... anybody selling games, or in any respect generated cross talk. Everybody who has a laseractive cant be stuck at the airport?!?
Ok, granted mabye people dont want to part with their LA games... thats fine, they are either incredibly hard to get, or expensive, and a lot of people have an insane drive to collect them all. Beyond me why anybody would want 'porn' laserdiscs or obscure Jap games they cant read.
To me its about the games, how great and playable they are. I have been aquiring games from sources all over the globe, and within 3 months have 9 games... granted have both version of Pyramid Patrol and Rocket Coaster with 2 more different games on the way (hopefully).
Anyway, lets get enthusiasm "Active" with our awesome laserdisc systems, talk about our favorite games, hardest sections, cheapest discs/system componets found at 'pawn shops' and revive LaserActive to its formal glory.
How sad is it when a forum devoted to an item... isnt exactly devoted.
-Tom
I also wish to sell (if there are any takers) an almost perfect copy
-Don Quixite... jacket is mint, disc is mint with no scratches of any kind, comes with a 2pg (4 total) pg instruction manual sheet and its rare 'what i assume' registration card'. I played it all the way thru on my CLD-501 and found no problems with it. It is in Japanese only (from what i can tell) and would have no pleasure in playing it.
-Ghost Rush... jacket is very colorful very mint and disc has two hairline scatches (very short)... comes with instruction manual sheet and a registration card. It is japanese version, but can select english (also found english voice acting while playing it thru on my CLD-501... no problems!! I do want to keep it, but the style of game isnt up my alley.
Msg me if interested... and reguardless if you want to buy or not.. my main concern is to get this group Active once again... Thank you for your time... -Tom from Maine
