[Pioneer LaserActive Station] CD-G function on CLD-A100

Hi group.

I have a Laseractive CLD-A100 with the karaoke pack and the sega pack.
I recently ordered a few karaoke titles in the CD-G format, thought it 
might be fun to check out.
But, come to think of it, is the CLA-A100 compatible with CD-G with 
karaoke pack installed ? I don't think so....
The CD-G functionality seem to be inside the sega pack, and with this 
inside I cannot connect any microphones. In other words, you cannot use 
karaoke CD-G discs together with karaoke pack and microphones ?
Can anyone confirm if this is correct ?
