Yeah that's true but box or no box a Pac N-1 goes for $400 and above regardless if it comes with a box and matching controller. As for the PAC-N 10 TG-16 which by far are rarer than the PC Engine version and one that was only PAC and no controller and box went for $500 on the low end.
If you are lucky enough to find an auction with the TG 16 Module and laseractive player they usually end up at $700 and above with the TG 16 Module being the most valuable part. But of course you can take that with a grain of salt and try and get lucky but them the breaks finding one that is less than $500 is a miracle to be honest so I was being fair when I said that TG 16 PAC N-10 module was $500 at the low end and around $650 at the high end. Luckily I already have the PAC N-1 and have no desire to pick a TG-16 one as I have a Turbo Duo and TG 16 console for my PC Engine and TG 16 gaming.
BTW robtheram are you by any chance T.A.P from neo-geo forums and segage forums if so you should have posted earlier as I had a dupe dust cover and some Mega LD games for trade sadly they were used as trade bait :(
