Hi List;
I know the list has been really quiet of late, and with the messages
and bounces that have gone on, I realized that I just do not have time
to maintain mailing list software anymore. Now, before the tears start,
the list is not going away. But there are some changes afoot.
I have spent most of my free time over the last 4-5 days looking at other
open source list software, and finally found one that seemed to do most of
what I felt the list needed, then I spent another 3 days learnign how to
set it up and configure it. And after having it run for the last
24 hours or so, I am pleased with it.
So, what this means is that sometime in September the list will be moving.
I am not sure when exactly, but sooner is better. So this message is to
give you a heads up to that. The second reason is that I would love for
any members here to start playing around with the setup so that we can
ensure it works for everyone (this includes the ability to handle MIME
messages). With this in mind, if you want to test out the new list and
offer feed back on changes that are needed, please send an email to:

And follow the directions. At present all discussion on the list will
be about configuring the software, and features, so there will be no Turbo
Discussion, per se. But if you want to weigh in on things you want to
see changed with the list, sign up and give it a test run.
