I agree!
AFAIK, it would be *extremely* difficult/impossible to pull something
like that off, though. Breaking into the HuCard would be the easiest
part. From what I understand, they used highly specialized ICs in the
HuCards that would be very difficult to find today. Then you have the
problem of being able to program the ICs.
You could also try to go the EEPROM route, but I would think those
would be too bulky to be able to fit back into the HuCard.
