It could be that ops are down until whatever goods are left can be
moved. There's still a bit of stuff leftover that I doubt will just get dumped. Maybe
Steve is looking for a buyer who will juse take over all of the stock. TZD have
kept a good com line with customers for years via newsletters, catalogues, e-mails
so, if this is the end, Steve will let us know.
I have spent a lot of money there over the years. I think my first
purchase was in '96. Converters, my TExpress and lots of games later, I find myself wishing
they still had more to sell me. Great service. And it wasn't just the sales
end of things. I used to call up to get game advice (since they had the
game councellors' notes there), inside info on what had happenned to the Turbo and so on.
It is/was one of the great pillars for the Turbo community...along with the TML
and pcenginefx.com. nothing but thanks and good memories though hopefully 'the last good-bye'
will wait.
