Laseractive NEC Pac repair/question

Hi everyone.  I posted this some time last year and didn't get any
response so I thought I would try again.  I have a Laseractive NEC Pac
and the controller port stopped working last year.  From what I
remember, everything works except the run button (it has been a while
since I have tried using this pac, maybe none of the controller
functions worked, I don't remember anymore).  I pulled the pack apart a
while ago hoping for some loose solder joints at the controller port and
didn't find any visible damage.  Does anyone know where I could get this
fixed?  Obviously, I have tried other controllers and none of them
worked.

Please let me know if you have any ideas!  I want to play Manhattan
Requiem again!
