I have already asked bt about this and have clearance to post.
I have a "gold master" or prototype of John Madden Duo football for
sale. I bought it from someone on the list a VERY long time ago. The
disc comes in a standard old jewel case. The top of the disc is gold in
color and has hand written notes in a red pen/marker. It also has a
"label" that says "MCD 59" on it. The disc is dated in hand writing for
8/13/93. (which is before the release I believe). The inner clear ring
has a number printed on it it says "BOX 930571101". It doesn't say the
WORD box... It is a black box. The bottom of the disc is blueish green.
It loads just fine in my duo. I cannot tell if there are any
differences from a retail release as I never owned the retail version.
Plus, I don't like John Madden football so it was more part of my
collection than anything
I have no "proof" or documentation about this item.
If you are interested in this item , then message me an offer. I would
have sold it on ebay already, but have no proof of its authenticity. I
can send pictures of this item to you of course and have reference from
ebay sales as I doubt anyone one here remembers me from back then. I
would accept paypal only and will ship to an address in the US and
Canada only.
