ahh...the classic Ghouls n Ghosts series that I loved so well ...and was so screwed up on the PS 2 with Maximo!!!!, taken back to its original glory, one of the best 2-D Adventure Seies of all time , taken to the extreme on the Super Grafx, great graphics , and playability, make this a highly sought after game. I love the stage designs on this title, from fighting a Massive Headless Armored Knight in the classic Cemetary on stage 1 to a great battle with a Flaming Cerberous at the end of stage 2 , this game has got it all, as well as one of the best Last bosses in this entire Series of games to top it off . The sound effects and Music are a little weak , but this is a very faithful conversion of the original Arcade Hit, and much better than the Genesis version, far superior details and no slow down and flickering , more than makes up for a short comings the sound may have, A must have, I wished they could have made more for this system,it had incredible potential. A+++++

Le légendaire Ghouls'n ghosts nous revient dans une version SGX plus que sublime,puisque elle suit,à deux ou trois détails près,la version arcade!contrairement à la version mégadrive,tout y est!les éclairs du 1er niv,l'anim du boss qui apparait sous la pierredu 1er niv,et meme l'intro!!! bref une conversion sublime dont on ne remarque aucun défault ou presque....les musiques sont bcp + laides que l'original arcade ou meme megadrive!(rassurez vous!c les mêmes) Bref encore un titre qui fait honneur à la décidément TRES regrettée SGX!

Definitely a SuperGrafx title. Still fun and damn hard. If you liked the Genesis version, you'll love this title.

Certainly the best console version, this marvel gets surpassed only by the pixel perfect rendition for the Sharp X68000 Personal Computer. Still that version comes on 51/4 Floppy Disks and there are plenty of load times, which makes this version the most balanced. Fantastic.
