About as close as you can get to perfection in a platform style game.
Believe the hype! One of the very finest games in the Castlevania series, a true shame we never saw a US release.
The ONLY reason for owning a PCE system!!!!!!!
I have spent nearly $700 Canadian for a PCE Duo setup and Dracula X. Thats how much I belive its worth, just to play this game...
Beautiful..... by far one of the best Castlevania games to date... the music is awesome too....
The single best PC Engine Game. I have Owned it since it first came out, and have never had any other game that has brought me this much enjoyment. Incredible and well thought out stage and enemy designs , perfect gameplay, and a excellent full CD soundtrack are but a few of the highlights of this very impressive game.Only surpassed by Nocturne in the Moonlight, and that is a 32bit PSX game!!!!! You are not a true Turbo Duo owner unless you have this title among you collection. 10+ rating.
Probably the best Akumaj Dracula ever. Worth every cent you have to spend in order to get it.
Heh. There are hardly any ratings for other games, so might as well join the club and comment on this one... What can you say, it's the simply the best action/adventure game the PC Engine ever got! Castlevania times 10!!! I paid ~85 bucks for a new copy of it back in 1994... The most I ever paid for a game and it was worth every penny.
I always wanted a Duo, and finally acquired one ...when I finally got Dracula X, after years of looking at pic\'s of it in magazines and wanting to play it, I was blown away with the fantastic presentation of this Awesome game!!! A must have.
I owned this game back in '94 when I worked at a Videogame importers store,I only wished I had hung onto it!!
A 101% perfect game!! Akumajô Dracula @ its best!! One of my Top Ten titles ever!!
Faut le voir pour le croire!ce castlevania enterre toutes les autres versions excepté symphony of the night sur ps1!S'il ne devait y avoir qu'un seul jeu à posséder sur le scdrom,ce serait celui là !raaaaaaaaaah lovely
Not particularly \"rare\" by any real means of the word, this game is one of many grade-A titles that was never given a localization for North America. It\'s become the victim of Ebay price-fixing, as countless sellers raid Akihabara to snatch up on every last available copy, slap on a \"Buy it now\" option at $160 USD, and typically set a baseline price at about $100. Yet, even so, people still pay these high prices. Perhaps this is because this is still the only real way to get a legit version of this game. Is this game worth more than $100? It really depends what you\'re looking for. It\'s certainly one of the best games in the series. After 6 years of eying it on Ebay, waiting for a good deal, I finally decided that the time was as good as any. I finally caved and spent my $100 dues to purchase this great piece of art. Is it worth it? As a self-respecting Castlevania and Turbo/PCE fan (of which I am both): I\'d have to say hell yes.
We can´t ALL be wrong... AMAZING!!!
I spent RMB 799 to get a new copy of \"Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo\" in 1995, and I believe it worth so much money. This game teaches everyone how fantastic, funny and wonderful an ACT style video game can be. It\'s soooooo great!!!
Best Castlevania (of this playing format) ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best pure action Castlevania title period. Definitely check this out if given the opportunity.
I thought that perhaps this game was overrated until I got it- now I can see it truly is the greatest Pc-Engine game ever- by far.
c'est le mailleur jeu de la console
I loved the beautiful graphics with its strict attention to even minor detail. I found the sound effects fantastic and the music superior. The level designs are well thought out with an abundance of secrets to be uncovered. Two excellent playable characters with some great weapons. It raises the Castlevania series to a whole new level while still retaining that classic feel. A masterpiece from Konami that would influence future Castlevania games to come.
Classic, if you love Symphony of the Night on the PlayStation or Saturn, you will love this. Its by far the greatest game on the Pc Engine, and lets face it, this system has shit loads of quality titles!
The music! The bosses! What a landmark in the 16-bit era.
