Decent vertical shooter with a little better graphics then the first game. The gamplay is good, and this time you can power up your dragon and release a powerful fire blast! This game is slighty difficult, but not to bad once you get to know the levels and boss patterns. With a little time and practice, this game is beatable. Especially for the vetern shooter fan. I would recommend this game to all shooter fans!

I must admit this one let me down. I felt that other than the bosses the graphics and animation really weren't much improved- the animation and gameplay actually even seeming poorer in some instances even those Saber is twice as many megs as Spirit. I feel that Spirit, although not without its own faults, plays a touch smoother. One thing that always bothered me about the Dragon Spirit series is how goddamn slow these dragons move. The sound effects are also pretty bad. Two things that are definitely improved upon however are the two-player option and the additional power-ups. Finally, I advise playing both games in the arcade modes- the compression makes the graphics appear more crisp and it at least gives the illusion that your dragon is slimmer and harder to hit. I'd say this is only for fans of Dragon Spirit.
