In case you were wondering from the pictures, yes, this is simply Wonder Boy III with a different name, new intro and slightly altered story. Not necessarily a bad thing, but don't buy it if you've already played WB3. It's almost exactly the same. (Why do they do things like that?) If you haven't played either game, you should know that Dynastic Hero is a very fun side-scrolling action game with mild RPG elements. It's not too short or too long, and the music is catchy.

Dynastic Hero is one of the best games on the PC-Engine. A conversion of the Sega Genesis game Wonder Boy in Monster World (aka Monster World III), Dynastic Hero is a platform action/adventure game. You run, jump, kill monsters and collect bling to buy new equipment. There's a bit of exploration and some hidden secrets in the game but it is fairly straightforward and never gets monotonous. A short adventure romp (five or six hours) but insanely fun from start to finish.

Like everyone else said this is a conversion of WB in Monster World for the sega genesis. If you are lucky enough to own this game then you know it's one of the greatest games ever created. I am fortunate to have received a english copy of the game. And I must say this version is way better than the genesis version. Better graphics, new music, a nice cutscene introduction before the game starts, and good controls. However, this version is really easy, unlike the genesis version that gets really hard later on the game. You can just breeze through this game with no trouble. Also another notible difference is the change in some of the bosses. Alot of the turbo duo version bosses are different. Also at certain points in the game you get helpers for awhile, some of those are different from the genesis version also. I suggest any fan of the series buy this game and the genesis version. They both have noticable differences and are better in there own ways. However the duo version wins in the end. If you are lookin
