Efera & Jiliora - The Emblem From Darkness

Pretty standard action RPG. Gameplay reminds me of the overhead action scenes in Ys book 1 and 2 with the exception of you have actually can swing your sword manually. Language barrier is not an issue. Just tinker around a bit and items and weapons become second nature. Also the game world seems pretty linear point a to point b. WARNING..Ive learned the hard way in this title make sure you build up your levels early to avoid having to start over and over etc...as there are some really frustrating parts for low level characters.You can save the game ANYWHERE you want though. I wish more action RPGs did this. Basically go through towns, clear baddies in the playing fields and dungeons,kill boss characters rinse and repeat.Animated cut scenes are humorous now and then even without knowing the language.The soundtrack consists of standard town tunes and battle tunes which can get a bit funky now and then. This title can be found cheap on auction sites. Spend a couple bucks and give it a chance it may grow on you.
