Weakest of the Soldier-series, but at least it has decent graphics.

Personally, I enyoy this game a lot. I find myself playing this game more than the other Soldier games because it isn't as frustrating as the other games. Great graphics and powerups! Highly recomended for shooter fans!

I don't understand why this game gets crapped on. It's fantastic. no Soldier Blade- but fantastic. Pre-game choosing of weapon systems is a big plus. Much easier than the other games in the series- you'll likely go far your first time- but hey we deserve a break after the difficulty of SSS.

Pretty good. Good graphics (not as good as Soldier Blade), usual shooter tunes and a great last level boss of gigantic proportions. I prefer this over the difficult Star Soldier but if falls short of either Gunhed (Blazing Lasers) or Soldiers Blade in every department. The power ups are not as extensive as the classic Gunhed. Can't believe or understand why this didn't receive a Western release??

I prefer this game to Gunhed (Blazing Lasers) and Super Star Soldier. Soldier Blade actually ties this game for me. The levels are fun and challenging. The ability to select your weapon characteristics before you begin the game are a plus. I also enjoy the three and five minute timed modes. A must get for any shooter fan that owns a PC-Engine or equivalent.

Like sinfreealex above I have to say that both graphics (to a certain extent) and MOST OF ALL gameplay are superior to the first two over-rated titles in the series (this being the third). Gameplay wise it ties with SoldierBlade but one can't deny how superior the latter is in terms of both graphics and sound (not to mention mecha-design). So over-all Blade is the best but this one is a real gameplay gem not to pass un-noticed!
