Forgotten Worlds

This is an impressive translation of the arcade shooter of the same name. Forgotten Worlds may not be the best shooter ever, but you have to give this version props for being one HELL of a lot better than the Mega Drive version, which watered down some levels and cut others out completely. And the PC Engine's remastered CD tunes are the best available version of the Forgotten Worlds soundtrack -- even better than in the arcade. The only real downside of this version is the absence of 2-player simultaneous play. It also lacks parallax scrolling, but I didn't really miss that too much. Personally, I think this game is a classic.
