One of the best action games of all times!
The greatest feature of this game is the Shubibin fire ball which can be controlled after it is fired by holding down the fire button immediately after it is released the first time!
At that point moving the joy-pad around will allow you to destroy with the fireball almost anything ^__^
Although just a standard CD-ROM-ROM you will see graphics and Anime cut-scenes which put most Super-CD titles to shame (and some Arcade CDs too...)with impressive bosses and special effects that increase in complexity and beauty the farther you go in the game.
Five stars are not enough!!!
A somewhat fun, if not an incredibly short and easy, side-scroller. A nice romp with an additional player. As I mentioned, its extremely simple to beat, and will take less than an hour. Hit detection is a bit sticky at times- fortunately it never becomes too difficult to warrant total frustration. In-game graphics are nice, the cut-scenes are a fun break, and a few of the music tracks are really catchy. Worth a try if you can grab a copy @ $15.
I fully echo the sentiments of mbriggs. I just purchased this game and was shocked at how incredibly short it was! I had to check the clock to see how long it took me to complete: about 45mins on my first attempt. I am no gaming guru either. The music and graphics are lovely, the game really has a megaman on the SNES era look about it and the game is simply action packed with loads of thrills and spills. I will play it again because it was really fun, but blimey, imagine if you'd have paid £40 back in the 1990s?? Youd have been well pissed off at the longevity!
