Very cool Taito shooter. The powerups are nice and the graphics are decent. Dont know how many levels this one has, made it to five but kept dying (using no cheats). PC Engine was known for its shooters, and if youre a fan of this genre you need to add this title to your collection.

A great little shooter, so much so, I decided to recommend it! Explosions are satisfying, power ups get great! Real arcade feel, great graphics for 1989. Very addictive and a good challenge. Only problem is, its one of those shooters that when you lose your powerups and start again from the last check point, it can be very difficult to power yourself back up. Bit like Raiden in that respect. I prefer this from Raiden, although it is very similar.

Extra Credits While the helicopter is descending on the title screen, press and hold Right, then repeatedly press II.
Extra Helicopters When the game starts move immediately to the lower left corner; When your ship stops moving, release a bomb, you'll hear the extra ship sound and get three extra choppers.
Homing Missiles Collect Yellow Power Ups while holding the Select button.
Extra Bomb Collect 10 yellow stars and a bomb item will appear on screen.
