I liked this game. It didn\'t look as good as the first one but it still had some very nice, fairly large, well animated sprites. The controls were only marginally better than the first one. The game was, however, a little easier than Legendary Axe I, which was good for me. This game was no slouch though.
One of my favourite hack-n-slash games of all time. The graphics rival most SNES games, other than the fact that some of the tiles are a little repetitive. Special effects (such as the sparkly explosions and transluscent water) are impressive as well. Gameplay is also top-notch, with better control than Legandary Axe and a number of weapons you can use and upgrade. Well balanced difficulty too. Great sound, catchy tunes, some cool plot twists, and some awe-inspiring level design top off an amazing package. I highly recommend.
I actually find this tougher than Axe 1- it is a little less thought out as well- but the music rocks and the game kicks ass- Only drawback is it isn't Legendary Axe. It's more like Shiny Conan In Speedo.
Darker feel than the first. Decent...
