As far as translations of this arcade classic go, the PC Engine version is, I think, the best one ever. It totally outshines the Genesis and Super Nintendo versions. The only flaw being that the PC-Engine sound processor was not quite up to task in some areas. Some of the sound effects have a tinny sound. Be warned however, the game CAN be played with the original 2-button pad, but a 6 button pad is recommended for the full experience. This game proved once and for all that the PC Engine was the best engineered system around. Call it 8-bit if you want, but this shows off 16-bit power! If you don\'t have a copy, get one.
Excellent translation. Definitely need the PC Engine Arcade 6 button pad cause it sucks with the normal Duo pad.
Now WHY couldn't the rest of the PC Engine fighting games that were ON CD have the fluidity and detail of backgrounds that this little HuCard has? Hmmmm?
C'est du tout bon. La conversion arcade-console est réellement parfaite. C'est un titre de légende qui fait de la PC ENGINE une console vraiment en avance sur son époque. Par contre il y a obligation d'avoir le PAD AVENUE 6 boutons pour prendre toute la dimension du jeu. 12 combattant au choix, une multitude de prise, la possibilité de jouer à 2. Que dire de plus, tout est parfait... Je me revois à 15 ans dans les salles d'arcade mettre mes 10 balles dans la fente et aujourd'hui c'est pareil sauf que c'est dans mon salon. Le TOP
Classic, shows the raw power of the system. Definately up to scratch to SNES version of Street Fighter II Turbo. Love it.
