Bomberman is a multi player dream come true. This is a great party game that will keep you and four friends entertained for hours and hours. The controls are excellent, and the game is simple to just pick up and play, and is easy to get into. The 1-player mode is good, but the game truly shines in the multi plyer modes.

Actually the one player mode is great. Battle mode is sick- but better on '93... Five stars nonetheless and a classic.

Excellent game, challenging yet addictive, although the multiplayer improved dramatically on later versions. Never understood the cover art, it was terrible and not consistent with the cartoony nature of the game itself.

One of the first games I ever truly fell in love with! I originally played this on an Amiga when it was renamed Dynablaster in the UK. What a game! This game-along with PC Kid- helped me in my decision to finally invest in a Turbo Express and later a Turbo Duo in the days of Grey Import shops! A classic, with cute, colourful and crisp graphics, outstanding chip tunes (although a little repetitive) and amazing gameplay. Only eclipsed by Bomberman 93, 94 and Saturn Bomberman! The multiplayer battle is great fun and worth investing in a Turbo Tap and additional control pads for.
