A cliché ridden, but enjoyable enough side scroller. The game feels unpolished next to the likes of Gradius and Aeroblasters, and the bosses are a little on the easy side. That said, the graphics do definitely have their moments, and there is still a good bit of blasting to be had out of the game. Placing the style, it feels closer to a c1989 Mega Drive shmup than an arcade game.
A good game with some hidden depths for those who wish to seek them. Every stage has a harder, alternate version you can access from the normal stage through a hidden power-up. The bosses are a bit easy and can often be dispatched in a matter of seconds as long as you\'re well-equipped. The game is also known as \"W-Ring\", don\'t know why that name isn\'t used more often.
Good game. I\'ve read on a few sites that this reminds of Gradius- it doesn\'t. Plays more like Super Darius- but much easier. This is one of those games where you don\'t see the entire game if you play it on easy mode- and there\'s alternate levels. Graphics are great, music is strange (another similarity to Darius), the speed changes, weapon power-ups are plentiful... All in all definitely worth getting for shooter fans although game is a little short and bosses are a joke.
