The graphics, music [although rather... bland] and even some of the sound effects are overall okay. The only thing that really dents this game to a low score is the horrible controls, let alone hit detection. Which at some points, becomes very frustrating. Although morphing into an animal with super-powers is pretty unique.

This game is really no different than the Hu Card version. The \"Story\" option was a big waste of time!!! Just 5 minutes of explaining to the player, in Japanese, the story of your mission. No redone over music, no missing enemy characters restored and no ending sequence, nothing!!! I thought that the CD version would have offered something more. Stick with the Hu Card, it\'s cheaper.

I was a fan of it on the Sega and since I acquired a PCE I though I´d give it a shot on the CD. I was surprised to see that there is no teamplayer mode (only on the HuCard!). Apart from that you get beat up pretty quick and die if you´re not careful enough to kill enemies at once (ie at the beginning of stage 2). I´d recommend it to players for nostalgia, but not as a real challenge.
