One of the best Shooters available for the PC Engine it is a definite must buy. In the same vein of quality as Soldier Blade, Sapphire, and Lords of Thunder. Incredible graphics and sound ,intricate Bosses and enemy designs as well as dead on Perfect Gameplay are but a few of the Highlights of this now classic game .10+ rating

Perhaps the best shooter for PC Engine. A lot better than Sapphire. It is very similar to Musha Aleste (Mega Drive). A lot of people would disagree, but I believe it is even better than Musha Aleste.

I don\\\'t know if its better than Musha, but it\\\'s just as fun! A very good game that isn\\\'t next to impossible to beat like a lot of other shooters! So yeah, all of you Musha fanatics out there pick this one up! You will go friggan ga ga over this game! (THE best shooter for the PC Engine)

Top notch shooter from legendary developers Compile. Extremely playable, wicked music, awesome power ups make this the ducks nuts of shmups!

Fantastic shooter - one of the best...

Compile\'s traditional long levels don\'t feel as bothersome in this title, which is very nice. The original weapon system doesn\'t feel all that useful, though - I just stick with one configuration for the whole game (green, yellow, green), it would\'ve been nice to have some scenes were different configurations had been more useful. Good game nonetheless, and the cinematics are nice to look at.

Best vertical shooter on the PCE. Great boss encounters and definately has replay value, which has to be put down to forgiving nature of the game (esp. compared to the likes of Image Fight and Super star Soldier) A must for EVERY Engine owner. Probably the best ending music to ANY shooter on ANY format Ive ever heard: simply fantastic (even better than Gates of Thunder)! Also, Id argue its better than MUSHA (by a cats whisker mind)
